Great Plains DB2 Forum

The Great Plains DB2 Forum is a professional organization with a charter to provide educational and learning opportunities for its’ members. The membership is comprised of application developers, database administrators, system administrators and managers who utilize IBM’s DB2 relational database management system on a day-to-day basis. Operating system platforms include z/OS, Windows NT/2000, Linux, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris.

The Forum meets on a quarterly basis at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. At the January and July meetings, a two hour technical main tent is held in the morning followed by repeating set of three concurrent afternoon sessions which are one-hour in length. All-day education classes are held in April and October. Frequent presenters at IDUG, IBM DB2 Tech Conferences and customer locations around the world, such as Bonnie Baker, Sheryl Larsen, Susan Lawson, and Gabrielle Wiorkowski are brought in to lead the education classes.
